This is how Harry, our fastest rider today, sees the course in La Bresse. He finished the qualifications with 58th time of the day and had this to say: "My run was solid, I hit my ankle in the training, but that didn't had a lot of effect on my run. I'm just so happy to be here, after 2009 I always wanted to come back."
Nejc, Žiga and Maria were not as good and they all finished the race, all with small gaps to the times that would lead in the finals. On a course that short every small mistake counts and they were just not fast enough. Or as Nejc has put it: "When you are in the finals everything is great, when you are not everything is wrong." Fastest riders of the day were (again) Aaron Gwin and Tracy Moseley. Aaron can win the World Cup tomorrow and that would make him the first male American with this downhill title.
The amount of fans here in La Bresse was amazing today and they were only qualifications. If the weather will stay like this, it will be crazy.
