Here are a couple of shots from first 4cross practice this afternoon. Track is muddy and super slippery as expected after all this rain.

Greetings from rainy Maribor. We arrived here early today and set up our blue tents in expo area and now we're off for some muddy 4cross practice... stay tuned.
First 4X World Cup of the season is behind us - unfortunately for our riders with no progress to the next round. After the qualifies they both had bad starting positions and they just couldn't advance to the next round. First on the start gate was Žiga Tatarkovic, Graf and Simms next to him. This meant he would need a perfect run to go to the next round - he attacked on the end of first straight, got to the third position, but lost it the next berm. Race was very different for Neža, who started her final run with bad start. After that she got back in the race and quickly got into third position. Then she went on the inside line after rider in front of her took the wider line - but the girl in front of her fell and took Neža with her. Hopes for semifinals finished in the dust ...
Great response for Unior Tools from the locals
First race of the season started with both Neža and Žiga qualifying for the finals that will be held tomorrow under the reflectors. Neža was fist on the start, she started good and had great ride until the pre-last straight. She lost her front wheel in the dust there and balanced to hold her line. Time was lost but important thing is that she was 15th on the end and got her place in the finals.
Žiga didn't want to take any risks on the dusty course and drove to safe position for the race. Finally he was 56th, but he will still attack. Plan is simple - go fast on the straights and attack in berms.
Neža in the first berm
Blue tents are on their position near the 4cross finish line in Houffalize. First gravity World Cup of the season is just about to start and Neža and Žiga are ready for the afternoon practice. Hopes for the race are high on the same course that should fit both riders. Right now the biggest concern is the weather, since it is expected to rain on Friday and Saturday.
More from the site in the next days.
